This page allow to convert from one wiki tagging syntax to another. The source can also be in XHTML.
In case you don't find the input filter you need, you can copy and paste from the source code of the web page displaying your text and choose XHTML as the source format.
For the tagging systems wich allow HTML, you can click the "Keep HTML tags" button for the tags that cannot be converted.

Add a grabber.

The URL field allow to grab a web page. This web page must dispaly a single post or wiki page. Wiki2wiki will try to find start and end of the content, then translate this to the Dest format.

Add table handling.

The tables tags are now converted. This feature is in test phase and must be enhanced.

Keep HTML tags

It is now a three way choice.

"Default" will use the value configured in the output filter.
"Keep", will keep most of them.
"Discard" will remove all the non converted ones.

!!!Backslash Escapes
Markdown allows you to use backslash escapes to generate literal
characters which would otherwise have special meaning in Markdown's
formatting syntax. For example, if you wanted to surround a word with
literal asterisks (instead of an HTML @@@@ tag), you can backslashes
before the asterisks, like this:
